HERE'S WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON IN BELLE VUE PARK RECENTLY

The 2018 Music Festival was full of fun, sunshine and great entertainment in July

We saw and heard 20 species of bird during our 7am Dawn Chorus walk in early May. We saw blue tit, blackbird, carrion crow, robin, magpie, wren, goldfinch, collared dove, great tit, dunnock, lesser black backed gull, herring gull, starling, jackdaw, swift, swallow, house sparrow, pied wagtail, great spotted woodpecker and the highlight was the green woodpecker.

The community bowls event in May gave all ages the chance to have a go at greens bowling

Easter fun included making bird-feeders, decorations and competitions

The bowling green opened for the season in April

There was plenty of new life to spot about the park in April

Belle Vue Park was white over in March thanks to the Beast from the East and Storm Emma

The Great British Bird Watch took place in Belle Vue Park in January

Many people participated in the December Belle Vue Park Christmas lantern parade

We had fun making lanterns and getting into the festive spirit in December
